Afghanistan Picks Up a Bronze Medal in Judo!

In the 2010 South Asian Games currently being held in Bangladesh, Afghan martial artist, Mohammad Tawfiq won a bronze medal in judo in the Under 90 KG group. In recent years, Afghanistan has clearly established itself as a dominant force in the martial arts. The South Asian Games is a major multi-sport event. It began on January 29th and is schedule to run to February 8th. A total of 8 countries are participating in the event and this is the second time that Afghanistan is participating.
