Afghanistan Sports Committee for the Deaf

Early this week,  the head of Afghanistan’s National Olympic Committee (NOC), Gen. Muhammad Zahir Aghbar announced the formation of the first ever Afghanistan Sports Committee for the Deaf.  This committee will works towards encouraging and providing more opportunities for deaf athletes to participate in various sports.  The committee is headed by Baktash Nasrat.
