School funded by American actress Angelina Jolie benefits girls in eastern Afghanistan
Award winning American Actress and United Nations Goodwill Ambassador had provided $75,000 to build a school in Afghanistan’s eastern province of Nangarhar. The school was recently inaugurated (before the start of the 2010 school year). The school has eight classrooms, four administration buildings, a well and eight latrines. The school can accommodate up to 800 girls in two shifts. Not only is Angelina Jolie known for her success in the American movie industry, she is also known for her many charitable donations, and her concern for children in developing countries.В Click here to read more about this story.
