Two wins in a row for young Afghan cricket team
Today at the Asian Cricket Council Under 16 Tournament (U-16 Challenge Cup 2010), currently being held in Penang, Malaysia, Afghanistan (78 for 3 off 21.1 overs) defeated Bhutan (74 all out off 28 overs) by seven wickets. Qayum Zazai was awarded the Man of the Match award. The coach of the team, Asadullah Khan said, “I am happy for the boys. They fought hard and played well. Maybe they were a little slow at the beginning but they settled down and did their job and now we are in the semi-finals.”В Their semi-final game will be on July 17th.
